Charlie has 3 cousins (my sister's kids) who live in Wisconsin. Since it is about a 7-hour drive in the car to their house, we don't get to see them real often. Today, however, they were returning home from vacation, and they called to say they would be nearby and could we get together for a few hours? So, Charlie and I set out on a road trip.
It turned out that Warsaw, Indiana was a convenient meeting place, so we met up for lunch at Pizza Hut and then spent a couple hours at a nearby lakefront park where the kids played. The weather was perfect, and we all had a lot of fun!
