This morning was Game #6 against Charlie's friend Dylin's team. Charlie scored 5 goals and had 3 almost-goals. He played hard and earned a star for "Best Effort." I think the fact that Charlie knew R.J. would be viewing videos of his playing soccer on this blog served as inspiration!
As has become our custom, we went to McDonald's for lunch after the game. Above, Charlie is posing at the bottom of the slide so that R.J. can see what a McDonald's Playland is like (since R.J. will be spending plenty of time there if Charlie has anything to say about it). :) According to Charlie, though, the best reason to go to McDonald's is for the toys that come with the kids' Happy Meals.
